It Was Never
Only About Movies
A comedy-tragedy set at the end of the video store era β when finding a movie was often only the beginning of the story.
We made a movie about a video store because some places become more than businesses. They become landmarks in people's lives β places where friendships form, tastes develop, first dates begin, and whole communities quietly gather around shared experiences.
Before algorithms and endless scrolling, there were recommendations passed hand to hand, conversations across counters, and the feeling that somewhere on those shelves was a story with your name on itβ the quiet belief that a movie could change your life.
Video Visions is a PG-13 honest screwball portrait about the quiet lives unfolding around movies,
and the strange comfort of a place like your local video store.
